At the genetic index, Copain scores 161 points for showjumping breeding values, which is exceptional.  Copain is a son of the keur stallion Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve out of the Lupicor daughter Wonia. Copain’s grandmother Tonia, who earned the keur and sport (jump) predicates and competed in the 1.35m is from the stallion Hors la Loi II (s. Papillon Rouge). Her dam Holyday, a former 1.30m jumper who carries the sport (jump) predicate is from Zeres (Tangelo x Eros). Bred to Oklund, Holyday produced an international 1.45m showjumper. We got our first foal from Copain out of our mare Wishful Thinking (Oklund x Zeres). This mare competed at 1.45m with Ernest Kwint. This foal is showing great promise.
